"When you touch a body, you touch the whole person, the intellect, the spirit, and the emotions."

By Jane Harrington

I am an expert level John Barnes trained Myofascial Release Practitioner and Physical Therapist.  I’ve had a lifelong passion for the body and the beautiful ways that it moves, expresses itself, and heals itself.

Myofascial Release is the most caring, effective, and long-lasting healing modality I’ve used in my nineteen years as a Physical Therapist and I’ve dedicated myself to this work completely since 2018.  I truly believe in this work and know it to be a treatment affecting the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual realms. It’s a profound gift and I feel blessed when a patient entrusts me with their care through this potent and intuitive bodywork. I find the process to be most effective when a patient is willing and ready to step into vulnerability, trust and mutual commitment to the healing process.

My career as a Physical Therapist has led me along a path of working in a variety of settings including my current private Myofascial Release practice, orthopedics, neurological rehab, trauma, vestibular rehab, geriatrics, home health, personal training, holistic lifestyle coaching, and Myofascial Release. I hold a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, a Certified Sports & Conditioning Specialist certification, and a certification as a Professional Life Coach with an emphasis in communication and relationship coaching.

My love of expressing the body in beautiful ways drew me to studying, teaching, and performing Acro Yoga. I’ve also danced and performed with an expressive dance troupe with Brietta Leader at Embody Studio in Sandpoint, ID for many years. I am a song leader, a song carrier, and a graduate of Lisa G Littlebird's (Monterey’s Whole Hearted Chorus Director) Flight School for Songleaders across the world.

I enjoy all the fun outdoor activities living in North Idaho gives me such easy access to: mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

Community singing is the timeless ritual of coming together with others to co-create a rich musical experience through voice.
