"When you touch a body, you touch the whole person, the intellect, the spirit, and the emotions."

By Jane Harrington

I have had a lifelong passion for the body and the beautiful ways that it moves, expresses and heals itself.

My eighteen-year career as a Physical Therapist has led me along a path of working in a variety of settings including orthopedics, neurological rehab, trauma, vestibular rehab, geriatrics, home health, personal training, holistic lifestyle coaching, and my latest passion Myofascial Release. I am a practitioner and an ongoing student in the John Barnes method of Myofascial Release which treats the individual not only on a physical and structural level but assists in releasing the emotional trauma and pain associated with injuries and life experiences. I have found Myofascial Release to be the most caring, effective, and long-lasting healing modality I have used in my sixteen years as a therapist. I truly believe in this work and see it as a treatment affecting the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual realms. It is a profound gift and I feel blessed when a patient entrusts me with their care through this potent and intuitive bodywork. I find the process to be most effective when a patient is willing and ready to step into vulnerability, trust, and mutual commitment to the healing process.

I hold a Master’s in Physical Therapy, a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, a Certified Sports & Conditioning Specialist certification, and a certification as a Professional Life Coach with an emphasis in communication and relationship coaching.

My love of expressing the body in beautiful ways drew me to studying, teaching, and performing Acro Yoga. I’ve also danced and performed with an expressive dance troupe for many years. My creative side loves to adorn the body in beautiful ways and I spent five years as a creatrix and seamstress designing a clothing line that was inspired by movement and play.

My latest love of expression is singing. I am a song leader, a song carrier, and an ongoing student of voice and all things singing. I am a graduate of Lisa G Littlebird's (Monterey’s Whole Hearted Chorus Director) Flight School for Song leaders across the world. I believe singing brings people together in a joyful and vulnerable way and is a means to celebrating and honoring the human experience together.

Community singing is the timeless ritual of coming together with others to co-create a rich musical experience through voice.
